Broxap is a family owned engineering business based in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire, established in 1946. We are market leaders in the design and manufacture of street furniture, shelters, covered walkways and playground equipment.
A new Production Administration position has become available within the business, created to support our busy Production Planning department.
Responsibilities of the role:
Day to day firming, scheduling and planning of materials and issuing works orders/picking list on MRP/ERP software system to manufacturing cells.
Printing all order confirmations/works orders/pick lists as and when required.
Expediting jobs and provide upstream departments including the Customer Services Department with information to ensure proactive communication to customers.
Assist in departmental housekeeping and general office organisation.
Key Skill / Competence Requirements:
Competent IT user including MS Office – training on our bespoke planning (ERP/MRP) systems will be provided.
Carry the ability to complete all tasks to a high standard, using problem solving skills to help resolve issues.
Capable of taking responsibility for initiating and completing tasks on time.
Ability to build and maintains positive relationships with the team.
Be able to demonstrate good communication skills including verbal, written and digital.
Monday to Friday 8.00am-4.30pm;
25 days holiday entitlement plus 8 bank holidays;
